When I was admitted to Dubai Hospital, I had the privilege of witnessing her work closely. Despite being of my own mother’s age, Ms. Leeba carries out her duties with remarkable strength, energy, and commitment. She moves through her responsibilities with grace, never showing fatigue, and always offering a reassuring smile. Her presence alone brings comfort, and her gentle approach makes patients feel safe, respected, and truly cared for.
The DAISY Award was created to honor nurses who demonstrate extraordinary clinical skill and deep compassion — qualities that defined the care given to J. Patrick Barnes, in whose memory the award was established. Ms. Leeba embodies these values in every interaction.
