Rome goes above and beyond in her role every single day. She wears many hats far beyond that of our RN Director. She actively serves on multiple committees across our organization and consistently advocates for her colleagues. Rome is not only a strong professional voice—she is also a safe, supportive space for anyone who needs one.

I have never felt more encouraged, respected, and valued as a team member than I have under Rome’s leadership. Her unwavering support has been a driving force in my personal and professional growth. Without her belief in me, I would not have had many of the opportunities I have today. She has helped me access resources to continue my education and connected me with colleagues who have guided me in expanding my skills and career path.

Rome’s compassion extends deeply into the personal lives of her staff. When my brother passed away, she was there immediately. She made herself available whenever I needed someone to talk to and ensured I felt supported throughout my grieving process. She and the team sent beautiful flowers for his funeral, and her care did not stop there—she continued to check in and offer support long after.

Rome leads with heart, strength, and authenticity. She cares profoundly about her staff and their well-being. She listens, advocates, guides, and uplifts. She embodies every quality of an extraordinary nurse leader and inspires all of us to be better—for our patients, for each other, and for ourselves.
