William saw that I was in dire need of medical help, and he did everything in his power to help me.
William Bryant has been my RN at Prisma Health, Cypress Internal Medicine in Greer, South Carolina, for several years now.

A few months ago, I was in an auto collision where I was rear-ended by another vehicle, which catapulted my vehicle into the rear end of a flatbed tractor-trailer, where the towing hitch impaled the front of my vehicle. This collision, which totaled my vehicle, also caused quite a few severe health issues, the severity of which was unknown to me at the time.

When I visited the clinic office on a Tuesday,  I was conveying to William how the automobile accident had me feeling so bad that I almost went to the Emergency Room two days earlier, but I decided to wait it out until my visit that day. William knew me well enough to know that I was not my normal self.

Due to my physical injuries, he gingerly guided me to various locations within the medical suite. The collision also caused a concussion, which has interfered with my ability to retrieve information from my short- and long-term memory.

William could not have been more kind and understanding to me. He showed so much compassion that I am getting emotional just thinking about how he treated me when I needed help the most. After my appointment with the FNP, who is also awesome, William walked me to the phlebotomy lab to have my blood drawn.

The next morning, the NP, who works closely with the FNP and William, contacted me to let me know that I needed to get to the emergency room as soon as possible because my blood work was not good.

Once I got to the emergency room and was later admitted to a regular hospital room, I was told by both the emergency room physician and the hospital floor physician that my blood and iron levels were dangerously low—that if another health issue cropped up, I probably would not have survived it due to my weakened system. I kept thinking how kind William had been to me while I was at my lowest.

William always embodies the essential characteristics of a great nurse (i.e., respect for the patient, vigilance, empathy, communication, as well as a host of other qualities and skills). William saw that I was in dire need of medical help, and he did everything in his power to help me.

He performs at this level every single day at the Cypress Internal Medicine office. William Bryant is the gold standard.
