This is written by the patient’s daughter (a physician) and the patient:

Leigh is an outstanding nurse – she is confident and exceptional. Leigh is very professional, smart, diligent, hard-working, compassionate, and goes the extra mile. If all people were like her, there would be no human conflicts in the world!

What greatly impressed us was that my mother had diarrhea for two hours. Because of concern for possible C-diff, Leigh examined the stool in the toilet and even smelled the odor to see if it could be C-diff! This is going way above and beyond what anyone would do (even me, as a daughter, would hesitate).

Leigh constantly checked up on us, asked if we needed anything, called the pharmacy to speak to them, called the wound care nurse, called the surgical NP, etc. What a wonderful and great human being!

Leigh also thinks very carefully about the medical care of her patients. We are so thankful to be under Leigh’s care and kindness. The action she took regarding the stool really touched our hearts.
