A heartfelt thank you to Maddy, RN.

I became critically ill with a sudden onset of nausea and diarrhea. I called my daughter, and by the time she got to my house, I was pale and clammy, and she right away called 911. I was declining by the time I reached the ER.

Maddy said, "It’s going to be okay," as she held my hand and looked at me with her soft eyes. She had such a calming effect. The teamwork with her co-workers was above and beyond, as they all helped clean me numerous times. My labs were way off. I just got weaker as the night went on.

Maddy was soft-spoken and gentle. The compassionate care she and the doctor gave me was exemplary. I recently lost my husband, and as awful as I felt with abdominal pain, etc., she stayed calm, focused, and made me realize that I was safe. She has so many skills as an Emergency Room nurse and she is a true a role model.

Maddy made a lasting impact on my daughter and me.
