During my week of orientation with Kim, I witnessed her giving such kind, compassionate care to her patients that I was impressed enough to nominate her for a Daisy award. I’ve been a nurse for 34 years, so I’m not easy to impress. In fact, this is my first Daisy nomination. Kim had a heavy assignment, yet she did not rush the care she gave to her patients.
