She still stops to see my mom with a hug, Sloan shows all the "petals" as it's obvious she cares about patients, both hers and ones that have left her care, she loves her work and is willing to give her time and love to others outside the specific scope of her work.
In November, my mother was admitted to HC Park for Rehab. Sloan was the nurse on duty when she arrived. She showed empathy and got to work alleviating my fears and worries about my mom. She always takes time to explain things and asks how to make things better. In January, my mom fell again and was admitted to the hospital.
Sloan saw my rough days and was always there with a hug and a supportive voice. When mom returned to the facility, she started having "spells" of shaking. These were not often and had not been seen by the staff. I told Sloan about them and showed her a video. She immediately called the Dr. and was quick to get mom readmitted.
Even into March, after we left Sloan's area, she always had a kind word for me and offered advice.
