Wei has taken ownership of workflows and is learning new systems, and is a tremendous help to their coworkers.
Wei has been instrumental in helping ATR continue to be a positive experience with our patients and fellow employees. He willfully accepted a challenging situation in ATR after only one week of being full-time in our department. A lead nurse was suddenly unable to come to work and would remain off work for a few months. Wei stepped up, organizing the department's daily activities, demonstrating his leadership skills, while learning the complexities of nursing in ATR. His calm demeanor has calmed patients, and he has fast become a favorite nurse providing excellent care. He has patiently helped co-workers learn the new computer system. I have not heard him complain of his challenges, and he creates a positive working environment. Wei is also instrumental in using an ultrasound machine to start difficult IV’s and is willing to help any department without complaint. He has been a good influence on fellow employees, patients, and patient families.
Wei has taken ownership of workflows and is learning new systems, and is a tremendous help to their coworkers. He shares information, ensuring that everyone can remain accountable within the department. He will take the extra steps to dig deeper into issues to understand and help improve processes, making them more efficient. He demonstrates patience and understanding.
He is being commended for his commitment to fostering an effective and supportive work environment, which has been instrumental in strengthening team morale during the particularly stressful transition to a new EMR system. Through his steady involvement, willingness to assist, and focus on keeping the team moving forward, he has helped create a sense of stability and encouragement for those around him. The positive influence he has had on his fellow team members extends beyond staff satisfaction; it promotes stronger collaboration, confidence, and efficiency, all of which ultimately contribute to better patient care and outcomes.
