Arianna is so deserving of the DAISY Nurse Leader Award. She creates a safe and loving environment at the Infusion center for all patients and staff. She welcomes every patient and their family members by name. She remembers special circumstances around their care. She recognized several patients who would be getting their chemotherapy on their birthdays, and she gave them flowers and a birthday card. The patients comment about how loved and safe they feel at Infusion. Frequently, patients who have completed their treatments return to visit Arianna because she was such an important part of their care. She treats each person with tender, loving kindness. Arianna also creates a safe and loving work space for all staff at Infusion. She leads with patience, competence, commitment, and awareness of what is happening with all the patients, and compassion for patients and staff. She creates a fun environment and encourages each staff member to do their best. She ensures we have the supplies and equipment we need. She makes Infusion the greatest place to work.
