Kayla has been my preceptor the last 4 months during my new graduate residency. I have gained so much knowledge thanks to Kayla’s abundance of information on disease processes, patient management, patient care, and all of the ins and outs. On the floor, Kayla is highly valued as a coworker and a nurse by her peers and patients. Any question, something to run by, an extra hand, Kayla will answer and be there always. No questions are ever too silly which makes her a trustworthy nurse to come to- a no judgement zone.

Kayla is very conscientious and has extreme critical thinking skills. With patients who are re-admitted, they always remember Kayla no matter the time that has past due to her compassion and selflessness as a nurse. She truly goes above and beyond for every patient she comes in contact with, her patient assignment or not. The trust she has built among the interdisciplinary team and her patients makes her an exceptional nurse, preceptor, coworker, and friend. I am so lucky to have built my foundation as a nurse alongside Kayla and very grateful.
