This is the second time I have been admitted to the Daycare unit. When I saw the nurse assigned to me, I was extremely happy because it was Jennylyn again assisting me for the second time.

She is a very good nurse—kind, sweet, and approachable. She is always smiling, which helps us patients forget the pain, because the way she speaks makes us feel comfortable and at ease. As she escorted me to the theatre, she greeted every staff member we passed with a smile. This simple gesture made my heart feel lighter, especially since this is my fifth surgery and I was still feeling scared and nervous.

She stayed with me all the way to the surgery room, reassuring me and telling me not to worry because all the doctors are excellent. This helped ease my fears completely. She also has a very gentle hand when inserting needles into my veins. Some nurses leave bruises when inserting needles, but Jennylyn is exceptionally skilled and careful.

I truly hope you hire more nurses with this level of professionalism and compassion. That is why I want to sincerely thank Jennylyn for taking such good care of me during my stay at the Al Khor Daycare Unit.
