My father was admitted to the hospital with not much longer to live. Monica was our nurse every day we were there. The amount of compassion she had for my dad and us was, I believe, the most compassion I have seen in all my years. To the point that when she left on Sunday night, she was in tears because she thought he would not be here in the morning.

He held on until Monday morning, so she once again was there to take care of him and make sure he was comfortable and clean. I have been to many hospitals and dealt with a lot of nurses, but Monica is by far the best nurse I have ever had the privilege to know. The world needs more nurses like her.

Her compassion helped us ease some of the pain and sadness we were experiencing. Monica deserves everything and then some. She would be a wonderful person to train others on how to act with patience. We are forever grateful for her.
