It's one thing to read this particular quote, but it is truly another to watch someone demonstrate this virtue in everyday interactions. Efrem often demonstrates the kind of poise, professionalism, and humility that others often work to obtain. Through observation and personal interactions, I often find myself amazed at how compassionate and self-effacing he is when interacting with patients, families, and staff members.

More often than not, I've witnessed him educate patients and families, setting the standard of patient interactions, reducing anxiety, and ensuring each person understands their medications and the role of nursing in the IPR setting. Countless times, I've watched from afar as Efrem trained other nurses, leaving them equipped with the skills, confidence, and motivation to succeed in their roles.

Efrem truly makes working here enjoyable by creating a positive workspace, offering a warm greeting, and providing high-quality interactions. He sets standards for others and defines what a team player is. By leading with empathy, Efrem creates an environment where people feel valued and understood.
