Jarika North, BSN, RN, demonstrates a deep commitment to serving Veterans, inspired by her personal experience as a Veteran's spouse. Since becoming a PACT RN Care Manager at the Cambridge CBOC, she quickly mastered her role, consistently showing strong clinical competence, critical thinking, and patient-centered, evidence-based care. Jarika excels at anticipating patient needs and delivering proactive, individualized support—always prioritizing the well-being of Veterans.

Beyond exceptional patient care, she is a trusted resource among her peers, frequently sought for guidance in complex situations. After earning her BSN last year, Jarika transitioned into the RN Care Manager role for Primary Care Quality Metrics, embracing new challenges with enthusiasm and quickly building expertise. She communicates quality metrics to colleagues and equips teams to drive meaningful improvements.

Jarika’s dedication to Chillicothe VAMC’s mission and values is evident through numerous DAISY Award nominations from Veterans and peers alike. A prime example of her commitment occurred when a Veteran requested a portable oxygen concentrator, not covered by the VA. Jarika went above and beyond—contacting the Veteran’s private insurance and local supplier, coordinating efforts over several days to secure the needed equipment. Her advocacy and compassion embody the spirit of the DAISY Award, making a significant difference in the lives of the Veterans she serves.
