Her kindness and professionalism made an incredibly difficult experience a little more bearable, and we are so grateful she was there during those first critical days of his hospital stay
Jackie was our ICU nurse, and we truly couldn’t have asked for anyone better during such a terrifying and uncertain time. We were overwhelmed and confused, trying to make sense of what was happening with my dad. We had received what felt like two very different perspectives from the ER doctor, who was incredibly kind, and the ICU doctor, who, unfortunately, was much harder to work with.
In the midst of all that, Jackie was a steady, compassionate presence. Her knowledge and confidence brought us a sense of calm and clarity when we needed it most. She not only cared for my father with exceptional skill, but she also cared for our entire family with patience, empathy, and grace. She answered our endless questions without hesitation and made us feel seen and supported.
From helping with the removal of the breathing tube to getting my dad sitting up and more coherent, Jackie’s guidance and presence were deeply reassuring. Her kindness and professionalism made an incredibly difficult experience a little more bearable, and we are so grateful she was there during those first critical days of his hospital stay.
We feel incredibly lucky to have had her by our side.
