I would like to nominate Jamie for the DAISY Award because he embodies what a great nursing leader should look like. Interventional Radiology is a small department that has a large impact on our community, the patients, and the families we serve.

For a long while now, IR has seen numerous changes in leadership, which have often made us feel overlooked, unrepresented, and forgotten. Jamie, in the short time he has been our manager, has helped our team feel represented, heard, and cared for. He not only listens, but he also cares about our team and is always willing to support us in any way he can.

He is also the manager of our surgery team, which is a very large department, and yet he still has the time to check on us multiple times a day to see if we need anything. I know if I need anything, I can count on Jamie to get it done or do everything he can to try and get it done. Thank you for considering Jamie for the DAISY Award. He definitely deserves it.
