Erikka Selisker is a dedicated and accomplished nurse leader currently serving as the Assistant Nurse Manager in the Emergency Department at AdventHealth Riverview, a role she has held since January 2025. With a strong clinical foundation and a passion for developing others, Erikka brings a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to leadership in a fast-paced emergency care environment.
Erikka began her nursing career after earning her Associate Degree in Nursing from Collin College in 2013, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing Education from the University of Texas at Arlington. Her commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth is further demonstrated by her Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) credential. Her clinical experience spans multiple health systems, including Baylor Scott & White Health and BayCare Health, where she gained extensive experience in emergency and acute care settings.
Since joining AdventHealth, Erikka has contributed significantly to the growth and development of the Emergency Department, initially serving as a Registered Nurse at AdventHealth Tampa before transitioning to AdventHealth Riverview. In addition to her clinical leadership, Erikka has a strong background in nursing education. She previously served as the RN Program Chair at Jersey College in Tampa, where she played a key role in shaping future nurses and fostering a culture of excellence in nursing practice. She continues to demonstrate her ongoing commitment to education and mentorship within her role as Assistant Nurse Manager.
Outside of work, Erikka finds her greatest joy with her husband and their daughter - spending time together at concerts and hockey games, creating memories that reflect the same warmth and connection she brings to her team every day. Erikka is known for her empathetic, servant leadership style, her ability to build strong, collaborative teams, and her dedication to delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care. She is a champion for continuous improvement, staff development, and the creation of an environment where both patients and team members feel supported and valued. A proven leader, Erikka is a vital component of the AdventHealth Riverview leadership team.
