Ivan has consistently demonstrated a commitment to going above and beyond—not only for his patients, but also in supporting his colleagues and providers.

Last week, a CTS patient who had recently been extubated began to decompensate. Dr. H announced the need for emergent re-intubation, and Ivan was the first nurse to respond—despite not being the patient’s assigned nurse. This is a common example of Ivan’s dedication. He can routinely be found assisting others on the unit, whether with complex clean-ups, emergent situations, or routine nursing tasks. He is constantly on the move, helping wherever he is needed.

From a CTS perspective, Ivan has demonstrated strong clinical judgment in recognizing changes that require intervention and promptly communicating them to the team. When new orders are placed, he carries them out efficiently and effectively, contributing to timely improvements in patient outcomes.

He is truly a top-tier nurse. Dependable, compassionate, and efficient are just a few of the qualities that come to mind when I think of Ivan.
