His attention to detail and communication gave me confidence during a time when I felt incredibly lost and just uncertain.
I was a patient in the rehabilitation program at Parkview Randallia for nine days following a life-altering car accident. The care I received there was exceptional, but one nurse in particular, Jordan, made an impact that truly changed my life.

I am a 35-year-old single mother who has always been known as the "peacekeeper" by my friends and family. Not to toot my own horn, but I am someone who instinctively puts others first, often at the expense of my own needs. This accident forced me to slow down and take an honest look at my life, my health, and my tendency to ignore my own body.

During this vulnerable time, Jordan was a calm, steady presence who consistently made me feel safe, heard, and respected. Jordan took the time to actively listen. not just to my symptoms, but to my concerns and instincts. He encouraged me to trust my body and to advocate for myself, even when I struggled to do so.

At one point, I shared that something felt very wrong with my only functioning leg. Even when I doubted myself, Jordan took my concern seriously and made sure the entire care team was aware. Because of his attentiveness and proactive approach, I was eventually treated for an infection that could have resulted in a trip back to the hospital.

Even more, Jordan was consistently on top of every aspect of my care, keeping me informed about my health, managing all my medications, and ensuring my comfort and dignity. His attention to detail and communication gave me confidence during a time when I felt incredibly lost and just uncertain.

It is obvious that Jordan is passionate about his work, and I have no doubt that every patient under his care feels seen, heard, and valued. His compassion, professionalism, and advocacy embody the absolute best of nursing.

Thanks a million, Jordan, for not only helping me heal physically, but for reminding me to listen to myself and that it's ok to prioritize my own well-being.
