Elizabeth creates a safe and encouraging space where I feel comfortable asking questions and being honest about my experiences as a mother.
Nomination #1: Elizabeth has been such an important part of my motherhood journey, and I truly believe she deserves recognition for the care and support she provides. She began visiting me before my son was even born, helping prepare me for breastfeeding, milk supply, and what to realistically expect during those first few weeks after delivery. As a first-time mother, that guidance meant so much and helped me feel less overwhelmed and more confident going into such a big life change.
After my son was born, Elizabeth continued visiting every two weeks. During each visit, she doesn’t just check on the baby — she checks on me too. She takes time to listen, encourages me, and reminds me not to be so hard on myself as a mother. Her reassurance has meant a lot, especially during moments when I questioned if I was doing things “right.” She helps me recognize that my son is happy, healthy, and meeting his milestones on time or even a little ahead, which helps build my confidence as a parent.
One of the things that stands out most about Elizabeth is that she truly sees the whole family. She has also given helpful pointers on how I can better support my older child, and she consistently provides resources that help me grow as a parent and better myself overall. She never makes me feel judged — only supported and empowered.
Elizabeth creates a safe and encouraging space where I feel comfortable asking questions and being honest about my experiences as a mother. Her kindness, patience, and dedication have made a real difference for my family. Because of the care she shows and the way she uplifts the families she works with, I believe she is an excellent candidate for this award.
Nomination #2: My nurse is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. She doesn’t treat me like just another client she needs to rush through; instead, she takes her time and gives me the attention and care I need. She truly listens and makes sure I feel supported. She also goes above and beyond by helping my family with valuable resources and supporting our overall well-being.
Nomination #3: Having Elizabeth's support in my early days as a mother has been a great blessing. My family isn't close by, and her insightful advice has helped alleviate many of my fears and insecurities during this challenging time. Each visit from her gives me the reassurance and confidence that I'm doing well and continuously improving. She is excellent.
