She has always gone above and beyond her role in the way she cares for and supports her clients.
Nomination #1: Kayla is a dedicated and passionate nurse who truly cares about the family she works for. She is always willing to help and be there when you need her. She has such a kind soul and genuinely loves her job. I wouldn't be the mother I am without her, and I am so lucky I had Kayla as my nurse with NFP.
Nomination #2: Kayla is someone whom I will always remember. She was more than just my nurse. She came into my life, and one of the most challenging times in my life, I was not only pregnant but had fallen and shattered my femur. Kayla was a saving grace for me, and I wholeheartedly believe she was sent to me for many reasons. She helped me throughout my pregnancy, but also became an important person in my life. I don’t think I could ever thank her enough for what she did for me by just being herself and caring for my daughter and me. I would love to see her win this award!
Nomination #3: Kayla has gone out of her way to help me and my daughter feel safe and not ashamed about any concerns we have had over the past 2 years. Kayla is a great listener and always has answers or is willing to find resources about any situation we have encountered. Kayla is knowledgeable, kind, flexible, and hard-working. She also loves to bring crafts or other fun books to keep my little one engaged during our sessions. On top of all of this, my daughter loves giving Kayla hugs and blowing kisses!
Nomination #4: She has truly been such an amazing resource for my daughter and for myself, always there to listen and give advice
Nomination #5: Kayla has helped my daughter and me through so much, has always been supportive, given advice when needed, and tried her best to help me navigate pregnancy and issues I had during pregnancy and postpartum! I am extremely grateful to have her as my nurse!
Nomination #6: Kayla has been my home nurse for my daughter and me for almost 2 years. I’m sad my daughter is about to age out of the program! Kayla always makes sure we have what we need and the information to help me when needed! She is so kind and caring and actually listens when I come to her with a problem. As an 18-year-old mom who had no idea what she was doing, Kayla made it so smooth and believed in me even when my doctors wouldn’t listen to my concerns! Kayla is amazing and deserves the world!
Nomination #7: I’m nominating Kayla because she is by far the most passionate and caring nurse I’ve ever had. She treats my daughter and me amazingly. She has helped my baby and me so much, especially through the first steps of my recovery. She’s always there if I have a question or if I just need some help with applying to anything, or helping me with diapers and wipes. She’s always so sweet to us, and she’s made such a big impact on our lives. She has supported me through the first steps of my recovery and always checks in with me to make sure I’m doing well, and always makes sure she lets me know how proud of me she is and how well I’m doing. She has literally become a part of my support system. I feel like if anyone deserves this award, it’s most definitely Kayla.
Nomination #8: She has always gone above and beyond her role in the way she cares for and supports her clients. As an Asian family, working with her has given us repeated experiences of female solidarity, cultural inclusivity, and genuine human kindness. She truly loves what she does, and her passion is deeply felt. This strength has not only empowered me, but I believe it will continue to inspire many more families in the future—giving them the confidence and courage to navigate life.
