Veronica made such an impression at her Med/Surg clinicals that she was unexpectedly given a letter of recommendation by a member of the hospital staff. I have never had a student receive a recommendation that wasn't asked for ahead of time.
Veronica completed her nursing clinical experience at Lakeview Hospital. During her time with us, Veronica consistently demonstrated the qualities we value in exceptional nurses--compassion, critical thinking, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to patient care.
Veronica stood out as an eager learner who always went above and beyond what was expected. She approached each shift with enthusiasm and integrity, asking thoughtful and appropriate questions that showed both her curiosity and her desire to understand the complexities of clinical nursing practice.
Her ability to critically think through patient scenarios, adapt to changing situations, and collaborate effectively with staff and providers speaks volumes about her readiness to transition into a professional nursing role.
What impressed me most about Veronica was her proactive attitude. She didn't wait to be told what to do--she anticipated patient needs, supported her preceptor and team, and advocated for safe, evidence-based care.
She built excellent rapport with both patients and staff, and her positive presence was genuinely appreciated on the unit...." Lakeview Hospital
She has not only impressed our clinical partners but also our staff and faculty. Veronica had overcome so many obstacles to get to Nursing school and fought even harder through her education to make it to the finish line.
She sees a goal and isn't satisfied until it is met, no matter how long or hard it may be.
