She gave my husband and 3 kids each dinner trays so we could all eat supper together.
I was in the hospital for 2 days for a hysterectomy and had the most caring, patient, kind, and helpful nurse I’ve ever met, and I’ve met a lot! I’ve spent a lot of my life in and out of hospitals, so I would know. After I woke up from my surgery, I was in the worst pain I had ever felt, and she was very understanding and let me swear when I was hurting. I’ve had nurses yell at me and tell me I can’t act like that. Even though the way I was, she stayed by my side and did everything she could to make me as comfortable as I could. After expecting to go home the same day, I was told I had to stay the night, and she was very accommodating and helpful to make sure I could spend some time with my kids and husband before they went home for the night. She gave my husband and 3 kids each dinner trays so we could all eat supper together. Even though there were extra trays, she didn’t have to do that. That just goes to show how much she cares not only for the patient but for their whole support system. Every time I had a visitor, and Jacki brought me in food, she always asked if anyone else needed anything. Anytime I needed her, she was there, and whenever I pushed the call button, she came right away. She is so amazing and just makes everything better! I don’t think I could have asked for a better nurse than Jacki!
