I've been working with NP Amy for 3 years now, and she has been amazing. She's defended the nurses, including myself, from doctors who get snippy, recognizes hard work, never gets annoyed when we call for any reason, and always trusts her nurses' judgments.

She's incredibly sharp and quick to act when push comes to shove, very patient when educating patients and staff, and has never had anything but a good attitude. She's a ray of sunshine, and we often talk about how much we love working with her at the nurses' station. She genuinely cares about every one of her nurses and will go out of her way to make sure we're taken care of.

I would trust her without a single doubt in my mind to give the absolute best care if my baby were sick. I know she's found her calling in being a NICU NP, and it really shows in how she goes about doing her job. Patients often relay how much they enjoy having her provide care because she has such a wealth of knowledge and compassion. Even when babies get transferred to other hospitals, her thorough explanation and caring nature help put parents at as much ease as they can be.
