The meaning of a daisy flower is many. It can be purity, innocence, new beginnings, joy, and cheerfulness. In the Victorian Era, daisies symbolized innocence, loyalty, and the ability to keep secrets. You could give someone a posy of daisies, and in the language of flowers, it could mean their secret was safe with you! So, for the persons selected, this award is called DAISY.

This nomination is made with the experience of spending many days in the ICU with our two mothers and my dad, who has already passed. Matt surpasses everyone else, and we have had great nurses during our journey. Purity—He delivers information in an uncomplicated way that allows you to welcome it as truth. Innocence—Yes, this is so important—a gift to believe good things come from someone pure. New beginnings—So many of us are grateful to be sent to the ICU where magical results are achieved, and at the same time, afraid a second chance won’t be gained. Hope is so important… “Let’s see what happens” is magic we welcome. Joy—Our own motto “Don’t postpone joy”. Few people carry joy with them no matter the sad situation before them. Yep, Matt’s got that too! Cheerfulness and loyalty—He will have a place at our table because time with him is a safe place!
