I am honored to nominate Carly for the DAISY Award at Henry Ford Warren Hospital. During my stay, Carly made an impact on me that I will never forget from the moment she cared for me. She was compassionate, attentive, and genuinely present. I came feeling vulnerable and overwhelmed, but she made me feel supported, safe, and truly cared for.

Carly did more than provide excellent clinical care; she provided comfort no matter how busy the floor was. She never made me feel like a task or a room number. She made me feel seen, valued, and important. There were moments when I needed encouragement, and she was my ray of sunshine. Her warmth, empathy, and professionalism reflect exactly what the DAISY Award stands for. She exemplifies what it means to be an outstanding nurse.

Because of Carly, my experience during a very difficult time was filled with compassion and dignity. I am deeply grateful for her care and believe she is more than deserving of the recognition.
