Kenyan Nurses in Diaspora( KENID) is a non-profit organization that was formed by Nurses abroad who come from Kenya. Their goal was to bring the nurses together for support and empowerement and to give back to the communit gloabally.
KENID has held several events in the state of Georgia by reaching out to the community and serving through feeding the homeless and partnering with doctors to do free medical camp screening and education to the underprivileged communities.
In 2025, KENID took a bold move and planned for a free medical camp in Laikipia, Kenya, where they partnered with several healthcare providers and held a free medical camp for the diverse community that has little or no access to healthcare.
KENID was able to serve over 3,000 patients, where they screened them for Hypertension, Diabetes, Cancer, Vision, Dental, and Mental Health assessment.KENID alos donated wheelchairs, walkers and crutches to patients who were in dier need. The community was very appreciative of the act of kindness and the impact that KENID made.
