I had surgery on my right foot. I had a lot of pain, and Robbie was right on top of it. I never had to wait longer than five minutes. During the night, I wasn't able to feel my toes on my right foot, and I panicked. She immediately assessed my foot; she removed the polish from my toe to check for capillary refill.

She kept me calm, very calm, and explained that it was likely from the nerve block I had. She then called the charge nurse. Robbie was right on top of all the concerns I had. She is a gentle, caring nurse and has attended to all my needs. I told her I broke my foot one week prior to the Chicago marathon, which I had trained so hard for. She listened compassionately to me and never made me feel like I was taking her time.

She also explained to me to get ahead of my pain, so I am not chasing it. I asked her about breakfast, too. My room did not have a menu, and she immediately went to get me one. Also, upon admission, she went over all my meds and explained to me when I could get them. She is a superstar, and Banner is blessed to have her.

Robbie was not only extremely welcoming but also informative. She helped ease my mind and clear up any questions I had about my stay before I could even ask. She was the sweetest possible, not only taking my needs into account but my family's as well. She is an excellent nurse worthy of more recognition.
