She is accountable, reliable, and always prepared.
Xaviera is a student who genuinely cares about how her classmates perform and learn. She shares study guides with students even if she doesn't know them very well. Regardless of how busy she is, she volunteers as a peer tutor. She states that being a peer tutor has helped her to review material for the NCLEX as well as help other students.

A clinical instructor described Xaviera in this manner, "She is always willing to step in and shows incredible compassion toward patients. She is a joy to work with. I cannot wait to see her continue in her nursing role."

One instructor has stated that Xaviera "embodies what it means to be a nurse. She consistently goes above and beyond for her peers, often taking time outside of class and clinicals to tutor and support other students who are struggling. She has a natural gift for explaining concepts in a way that her peers understand. Her everyday empathy is what truly makes her stand out. She is always supporting a classmate or checking in on someone who seems overwhelmed. She is accountable, reliable, and always prepared. Overall, she is not only an excellent student and a future nurse leader, but also a genuinely kind, thoughtful human being. Her presence makes a nursing school better for everyone around her."

During her clinical experience, Xaviera was paired with a nurse who stated, "On my first day, as an RN, Xaviera was a great help to support me. Learning a new job is never easy, but having Xaviera's support made the transition easy. Not only did Xaviera show immense care for colleagues, but she also provided excellent care to our patients and ensured each patient felt comfortable and heard. Xaviera promptly attends to patients and reports changes to use so that we can intervene quickly. Xaviera shows true care for the job and patients and will make an amazing nurse."

Xaviera will be graduating from the BSN program next week. The nurses are blessed to have her join our profession.
