My husband and I have two small children. My husband needed emergency surgery on his foot; by the end of the day, we were both tired, stressed, thirsty, you name it!

When I went to the recovery room where my husband was, the nurses there were a breath of fresh air, even so late at night. It was 9:30 pm, and Sara took care of our every want and need. She anticipated things that we might need that made our night so much easier. You don't see care like that very often.

From getting special "Sonic" ice and ginger ales, to pillows for my husband's foot, to offering to get someone to hold my baby, she did it all and smiled, too. Sara joked around with us, and it sure lightened our mood.

My husband said they were some of the best nurses he has ever seen and even came home with food recommendations. It was a great experience during a painful day.

Even though we left after the surgery center was shut down, Sara wheeled the wheelchair for my husband and got me a cart for all our things. She waited in the dark parking lot with us, too.
