During a nine-day period that included three major surgeries, I was surrounded by many skilled and compassionate healthcare professionals who provided excellent care. However, it was Neosha, my nurse in the ICU during the three most critical days following my final surgery, who truly went beyond anything I could have expected and left a lasting impact on my recovery and my heart.
