Nurse Ting really took her time to teach me and explain everything she was doing. She let me get involved with everything I possibly could. She took time to show me the whole unit well, which I really appreciated.

It can be hard as a student nurse may not want to teach you, which is why I also really appreciated that she treated me like a normal person instead of like “just some student." Positive experiences like this make me want to work in a NICU, as it makes the field a lot less intimidating.
