Maria, I wanted to take a moment and thank you for what you did for one of our patients on Sunday. This patient was a longer length of stay patient, and while he himself has cancer, his wife also has cancer that she has been battling.

Every year, the patient and his wife participate in a Warrior Walk, and they were devastated that they would not be able to attend this year due to the patient being hospitalized. Maria took the time to make the patient and his wife their own Warrior Walk on our unit, complete with a finish line and everything.

Maria, thank you for all that you do for our patients every single day that you come to work! We are grateful to have you as part of our CNU team.
