Throughout all of my procedures, Courtney was thoughtful, attentive, and communicative.
I am a current Cardiology/EP patient with a diagnosis of atrial fibrillation (AFib). Over the past five months, I have undergone two cardioversions, with a third cardioversion originally scheduled. However, after a visit to the Emergency Department, I instead underwent an unscheduled Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA) that day.

Courtney has been my nurse for both cardioversions and the PFA. Her smile truly lights up the room, and every time I entered the Cath Lab, I felt blessed to be in her care. This has been a very frightening time for me, and the continuity of care she provided during each procedure was extremely comforting. Courtney shared that whenever she saw my name on the schedule for a cardioversion, she would request to be my nurse.

On one occasion, she even rearranged her schedule to work on her day off so she could be there during my procedure. When I required the unscheduled PFA, I was taken directly from the Emergency Department to the Cath Lab. Upon arrival, Courtney was already there waiting for me. Seeing her immediately gave me a sense of peace about the upcoming procedure. She stayed late that day to ensure she saw me after my PFA was completed and I was back in my recovery room.

Throughout all of my procedures, Courtney was thoughtful, attentive, and communicative. She addressed my concerns, explained what to expect, and walked me through each step of the process. Above all, her compassion and empathy are exemplary. She truly cares and strives to make a positive difference. BSW is truly blessed to have Courtney on their staff, and I am deeply grateful to have been under her care. Please thank her again for me.
