I was blessed to have her with me that day.
On 5/12/2025, I had an endoscopy done. Some history about myself. In 2015, I had a very bad accident, and I was intubated. I had 17 surgeries and was blessed to be alive. I can talk, walk, and do everyday normal activities. Throughout my recovery and now in everyday life, it can be hard to swallow without feeling like I am choking. I have dysphagia, which is a term used for difficulty chewing and swallowing food and drink. In the beginning, when I choke, I would go into a panic attack, which made everything worse. I have TBI in my frontal lobe, which causes issues trying to regulate my emotions. This doesn’t help with the panic attacks.

When the procedure of the endoscopy was explained to me, I started crying. I was struggling not to have a panic attack. When I was crying, Jamie was so soft-spoken and gentle. She said she would hold my hand, and she did. Just her touch and kindness were so soothing. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate her. She is an extremely special person. I was blessed to have her with me that day. When she saw me struggling, she stepped right up and went above and beyond what I needed. I want to thank her and to let you know how fortunate you are to have Jamie on your staff.
