During my stay at Tampa General Hospital, I had the privilege of being cared for not only by the nurses but also by Rebecca. I would like to recognize her as one who not only serves as a nurse but also as a Nurse Manager at TGH. What makes her so exceptional is the way she balances leadership responsibilities with genuine, hands-on compassion for the patients and families on her unit. 

Even though she manages a busy team, Rebecca never hesitates to step in and provide direct patient care. When I was admitted with chest pain and other symptoms, she began to assist with my care. This kind of leadership brought me comfort.

What I really liked was how Rebecca took the time to sit with my family, explain my treatment plan, answering every question with patience and warmth. I will never forget her being there all the time I was going through pain or any other situation. Rebecca truly deserves this recognition. She is the perfect example of what it means to go above and beyond both as a leader and as a caregiver. She embodies the true heart of nursing. I am deeply grateful for her dedication and compassion.
