It is obvious that Levi has a heart for serving people. It is so much more than just the medical interventions.
I am a 63-year-old woman with no previous heart issues. I was admitted to the ER with Atrial Flutter. This was a new medical experience for me. The nurses caring for me at admission were great, but when Levi came on shift, I knew I was in good hands. The doctors told me I would have to stay in the hospital overnight, at least. This is something I haven't had to do in more than 33 years.

For a number of reasons, I couldn't be moved to a floor room and had to stay in the ER overnight. Levi kept me informed on how I was doing, explaining things in a way I could understand. I was comfortable, never worried or fearful, due to his soothing bedside manner. He let me know when my heart responded to the medicine and regained a normal sinus rhythm. But then, he went above and beyond. He found a wider potty chair so I could maintain my dignity when I needed to use it. Levi then worked all night to arrange for a regular hospital bed to be brought to my ER room. My sleep improved 1000% after that!

As I improved, he made adjustments that helped me to sleep, such as reducing the number of times the BP cuff engaged. It is obvious that Levi has a heart for serving people. It is so much more than just the medical interventions. He truly grasps the concept of treating the whole patient. After I posted about him in a local Facebook group, the comments about positive experiences with this nurse poured in. Levi is an asset to the nursing community of Manhattan, KS, and should be shown as an example that every nurse should strive to be!
