Jarrett never ceases to amaze me. Upon receiving a report from him on Tuesday night,  he informed me that it was a patient's birthday. Not only did he ensure she received a slice of cake to celebrate her special day, but he also called the facility she was admitted from and arranged to go pick up her cell phone so she could talk to her family as well.

After ending his 12-hour shift, he drove to the facility, picked up her cell phone and personal toiletries, then drove back to UMC to bring them to her. I do not feel like you can go more "above and beyond" than that! I am so grateful to work with such a caring and inspirational nurse. Thank you for all that you do, Jarrett!
