Ciara was nominated by a colleague for the remarkable kindness and consistent expertise she demonstrated in caring for a critically ill patient and their family. Throughout the patient’s emotionally taxing hospitalization, Ciara was a calm and empathetic presence, offering clear communication and unwavering support. When the patient chose comfort at the end of her illness, Ciara ensured the transition was peaceful by creating space for the family to say goodbye. 

Ciara spent her entire shift supporting more than 20 relatives, providing reassurance during one of the most vulnerable times of their lives. Her grace, steadiness, and heartfelt care left such an impact that the family asked her to remain until she returned so they could thank her personally.
