As for a general nurse, Isabella was pristine, clean, caring, and precise. But what exceeded our expectations was her genuineness and caring soul at a time when my family was scared and preparing for the worst; she really lifted our spirits and gave us hope and optimism, which we really needed.

Isabella also shared something personal with us along the lines of, "If I knew then what I know now… " That story really impacted us, Isabella. I want you to know that maybe, if you had known what you know now, you would have done things differently. But now, you’re a nurse, and you’re doing for strangers what you would have done for your mother. You did it for my mother, and you will continue to do it for many more families.

I believe your mother empowers you every day to make a difference in people's lives, and that it is a blessing. I want you to know that my family thanks you so very much. Maybe you weren’t the surgeon who repaired my mother, but you were a big part of repairing her spirit, which is equally as important in my eyes. We hope you have a great day.
