Lo's provider shared this story with me as a kudos:

Lo was helping room a teen patient one day and noticed that this patient was wearing a very soiled and dirty shirt. Lo recognized that this was probably uncomfortable for the patient, so she literally gave the shirt off her own back to the patient, for her to wear and take home. Lo wore a sweatshirt for the remainder of the day. This exemplifies going above and beyond- more than just nursing- to care for a patient. This display of kindness and caring helped a young teen feel more comfortable and confident. She provided much more care than just medical care. This is an amazing story and display of exceptional kindness. I want to recognize Lo for going beyond her regular day-to-day duties and for helping a young patient in need.
