I would like to recognize Whitney for the extraordinary care, compassion, and dedication she showed my son, B, during one of the most terrifying moments of our lives. When B was on the ventilator, a time when B could not speak for himself, Whitney became his voice, his comfort, and a constant source of reassurance.

She took exceptional care to keep our family fully informed, explaining every detail of B’s condition, treatment, and progress with patience and clarity. What made her care truly remarkable was the way she spoke to B while he was intubated, never forgetting that he was listening, understanding, and feeling everything. She calmly explained each step, what his body might experience, how he might react, and what the doctors expected for his recovery.

Her presence brought peace to a situation filled with fear, and her compassion gave us comfort when we needed it most. Whitney’s bedside manner is nothing short of extraordinary. She represents the very heart of nursing, and she is profoundly deserving of recognition for the exceptional service and compassion she provided during the most vulnerable moments.
