I would like to recognize my labor and delivery nurse because she made one of the most vulnerable and life-changing moments of my life feel safe, supported, and filled with compassion.

From the moment she walked into my room, Anna treated me not just as a patient, but as a person. She spoke to me with kindness, patience, and reassurance during moments when I felt overwhelmed, scared, and unsure. Her calm presence grounded me and gave me strength when I needed it most.

She anticipated my needs before I even had to ask and made sure I was comfortable, informed, and emotionally supported throughout my labor and delivery. She advocated for me, encouraged me, and reminded me that I was capable. Her words and care helped me push through the hardest moments.

What stood out the most was how deeply she cared. She never made me feel rushed or like just another patient. She made me feel seen, heard, and protected. Because of her, I was able to bring my baby into the world feeling supported and cared for every step of the way.

Anna is truly an angel and a true definition of a nurse. I will never forget the role she played in one of the most important days of my life. Her compassion, professionalism, and genuine kindness embody everything the DAISY Award represents.
