Every time she walked into the room, she brought a calming presence and a warm smile that reminded us we were in good hands.
Gracie was truly our saving grace. I know that may sound cliché, but there’s no better way to describe the impact she had on our experience. From the very beginning, she was kind, gentle, and incredibly compassionate—not just with our baby, but with us as first-time parents navigating the overwhelming emotions of a hospital stay. Watching your baby undergo medical procedures is heartbreaking, and Gracie brought comfort during a time when we needed it most. She placed an NG tube to ease E’s feedings, and did so with such skill, care, and patience. She explained everything clearly and always took the time to ask if we had questions or needed support. Every time she walked into the room, she brought a calming presence and a warm smile that reminded us we were in good hands. As a nurse myself within this organization, I understand the profound difference a great nurse can make—and Gracie exemplifies that. We are so incredibly grateful she was there to care for E.

Our 3 week old daughter has been extremely sick with RVS/bronchiolitis, and nurse Gracie went above and beyond to not only help us and our little daughter. Our daughter required very frequent attention, and Gracie went above and beyond every single time with exceptional patience and care. She did so with a smile and true sincerity. This stood out as a key component of her character, ensuring that we felt cared for, loved, and protected. She came every time with a smile and kindness that not only made us feel welcome, but more importantly, never a burden. When you are so dependent on others to care for your daughter, I cannot. I felt a sense of burden and inadequacy, and Gracie was not only obliged but insisted we come to her with all of our needs. She is a true blessing in a very scary and vulnerable situation. Gracie, thank you for your kindness, your unwavering patience, friendship, support, and love. All for strangers. Thank you.
