We always knew that if she were the assigned nurse, the day would go smoothly.
This is a long-overdue letter of recognition and deep appreciation for this nurse at Makati Medical Centre, who served us during our 4-month confinement. While we acknowledge that Makati Medical nurses are already among the best trained in our country, with above average experience and capabilities, everyone among our family and friends who observed and noticed that this nurse during her duty hours immediately noticed her consistent positive attitude and disposition, her competencies as a nurse to a patient with post-op and multiple organ issues requiring patience and the appropriate skills. We often talked about her even three months after our patient was discharged and started the road to recovery. We all agreed that such a quality of service and dedication should not be set aside unnoticed. We therefore give this: Outstanding Recognition as a Practising Nurse with exceptional “tender loving care” attitude, competencies and skills to her. She was outstanding compared to all our other nurses – several notches above her colleagues. She was in charge, knowledgeable, efficient, gentle, and caring in her interactions with us, always patient despite our many demands, and never failed to brighten the room with a smile each time she entered. We always knew that if she were the assigned nurse, the day would go smoothly. When we talked to her, she would kindly engage with us but gently excuse herself at an appropriate time to attend to her other patients. When there were times she couldn’t attend to us immediately due to other patients' needs, she would rush back as soon as she could and gently explain the situation, or, if unable, duly endorse us to her colleagues. This nomination is our way of recognising the service she provides to her patients. We wish her only the best in her nursing career.
