From the very start of their hospital stay, patients and families remembered this nurse as someone who truly cared—not just through skill, but through his presence and genuine compassion.
One family member shared:
“Since my patient was confined in this station, he was the first to assist us. He is very polite and attentive. He always greets and visits patients, and he is truly patient. He always smiles, even when he is tired. He is very professional when speaking to everyone around him—even his co-workers. He is polite, friendly, and hardworking. Even if you are not his assigned patient, when he sees that other nurses are busy, he willingly assists those who need help. I salute this nurse, and I hope all the nurses at Makati Medical Center are like him. Thank you, and God bless MMC and all the doctors and nurses.”
Another family member expressed their gratitude this way:
“When my father was admitted, I was very stressed during that time, and there were moments when I would easily lose my temper. During his rounds, this nurse approached me and spoke with me. I was able to share all my frustrations with him. He gave me advice that I truly needed at that time. He also helped me process the requirements to seek assistance from our barangay, and by the next day, the support we needed was already provided.
During our discharge, he guided us properly, and because of that, I was no longer stressed with the remaining tasks. This is my simple way of giving thanks. We may not have much, but I sincerely want to express my heartfelt gratitude for all the help he has given us.”
