Went by the VA office in Lynchburg to get a nurse to check my blood pressure. I did not have an appointment, waited about 45 minutes. It was almost lunchtime, so I told the person at the front desk I had to leave. I received a call from Kenyetta to see if I was having a problem and if I wanted to come back. I made an appointment to see her on Friday. I have been going to the VA office in Lynchburg since it opened. I have not had a nurse as caring as she was to call me for care. She was most interested in helping me; she took my blood pressure and took the time to explain how to use the blood pressure machine properly. My machine was old, so she gave me a new one. She took her time and did not try to rush me out the door. She gave me information on diet and how it matters. She told me to record my blood pressure for her and when to return.
