Whenever we were scared or unsure, Anahi was there with patience, kindness, and encouragement.
We absolutely loved having Anahi as my mother's nurse. She went above and beyond, bringing her warmth, genuine kindness, and nurturing spirit to my mom's first days back on the regular floor after more than two weeks in the ICU. At that point, my mother was extremely weak and emotionally drained. Anahi had a remarkable way of making her feel safe, capable, and cared for during a time when she felt anything but. She gently encouraged my mom to get up to the commode and reassured her that she could stand, helping restore not just her strength but her confidence. My sister, stepfather, and my mom's close friend all commented on how much Anahi's presence meant and how she changed the tone of those difficult days. Her compassion and encouragement made a lasting impression on our entire family. I could go on and on about the difference she made, but simply put, Anahi is exactly the kind of nurse every patient hopes to have.

I am nominating Anahi for the DAISY Award because of the outstanding care and compassion she showed my mom and our family. Over the two days she cared for my mom, she educated us, supported us, and made sure we felt confident and reassured. Whenever we were scared or unsure, Anahi was there with patience, kindness, and encouragement. She went above and beyond to care not only for my mom, but for our entire family. Her positivity and ability to cheer us up made a difficult time much easier. Anahi is truly an exceptional nurse, and we are so grateful for her.

I would like to nominate my nurse, Anahi, for a DAISY Award because of the incredible care, compassion, and education she provided me during one of the most frightening times of my life after my heart attack. From the moment she cared for me, she went above and beyond to make sure I not only felt safe but truly understood everything that was happening with my treatment. She never once rushed through anything. She took the time to thoroughly educate me on my Lovenox injections, explaining why I needed them, how they worked, and what to expect. She made sure I felt confident and comfortable, answering every question with patience and kindness. What stood out the most was that she never failed to provide education. She explained every medication and every step of my care in a way that made me feel empowered instead of overwhelmed. During a time when I felt scared and vulnerable, she gave me knowledge, reassurance, and dignity. She was truly the best nurse I have ever had. Her compassion, professionalism, and dedication to patient education made an unforgettable difference in my recovery. I will never forget the impact she had on me during such a critical moment in my life. She is exactly what nursing should be, and she deserves recognition.
