She's vigilant, proficient, grounded, and made quick, effective decisions that led to a positive outcome.
I was staying with my husband, who was a patient, and Morgan had been his nurse for a couple of nights. She was an amazing nurse to my husband.
I had a hypertensive crisis, broke out into a severe rash, and became extremely tachycardic. Morgan was my husband's nurse, so we called her. She and her team jumped right into action. I put a lot on Morgan. I was begging her to help me - I told her I was dying. She stayed with me until she got me to the emergency room. Her ability to stay calm and composed while I was in a state of panic and chaos was amazing.
She showed genuine compassion for my husband and for me, reassuring him that my EKG in the ER was okay. Her resilience gives me goosebumps. She's vigilant, proficient, grounded, and made quick, effective decisions that led to a positive outcome. She was my anchor that night, and the following night, I started to have another episode. She was the charge nurse. She was able to guide me through the storm so I could get some rest. Her presence alone brought me comfort.
Thank you, Morgan. I apologize for putting that on you. But you truly are an amazing nurse and person. I will never forget you!
