Recognizing the importance of kindness in care, Cindy developed "Cindy's Care Cards"-a thoughtful program that allows colleagues to express gratitude, encouragement, and support. She created a supply of blank cards that any team member can personalize for a patient. Colleagues are invited to add their own messages, creating a collective expression of care from the entire team. Patients receive these cards at discharge as a heartfelt reminder that we genuinely care about their well-being and are honored to have been part of their healing journey.

Cindy also expanded the initiative to include birthday cards for patients spending their special day in the hospital, as well as sympathy cards for families experiencing the loss of a loved one. Through these gestures, she ensures that every patient and family feels seen, valued, and supported during some of their most vulnerable moments. Cindy's big heart and dedication to spreading kindness have created a more compassionate environment on the 10th floor. Her efforts exemplify the spirit of patient-centered care, and we are incredibly proud of the meaningful difference she continues to make.
